Until quite recently, Casino
Glamour and the other casinos in the Grand Virtual Group didn’t
allow players from the USA or Canada, but this has recently
changed and they now welcome players worldwide. As they are
offering new players a $50 gift on their first purchase I
thought I would give them a try.
The initial software download
was speedy and the installation process quick and simple. Once
downloaded, you can choose which games to install and these
download quite quickly although the bonus slots take a couple of
minutes.
My first impression of the
casino is that it had the most impressive selection of
videopokers and the weirdest selection of slots that I have ever
encountered! They have 14 variants of videopoker including
rarities such as One Eyed Jacks and Crazy 8’s alongside the more
familiar Deuces Wild and Jacks or Better. The multiplay options
were very impressive you can play between 1 and 500 hands and
there are useful options such as quickdeal very helpful when
playing lots of hands, and autosort features which will sort
your wins by best hand. The poker was very fast, although
depending on the game it seemed to vary between extremely tight
and extremely loose.
As for the slots, they are
unlike anything I have ever encountered at another casino. In
Faerie Tale instead of spinning reels, symbols just disappear
and reappear in a random order. It was very difficult to work
out the payout table, so in the end I just resorted to spinning
the reels and hoping for the best. There is a bonus feature
which pops up when three miners helmets appear, but most of the
time it pays only 1 x your bet. There is also a free spins
feature which pops up with some regularity although it is not
particularly generous.
